What does a website cost?
Having a website or webshop built by Prestige Consulting Group (PCG) costs from €999, one-off. For that you get a fully finished site that we design and build ourselves. Training and aftercare are always included. Hosting, backups and updates run through Care, from €59 a month. No VAT is added, under the Belgian small business exemption.
What do you get for €999?
€999 is a starting price for a fully finished job. We make the design and the code ourselves, never with an off-the-shelf theme. You see the complete design before a single line of code exists. During the build you follow everything through a link to the test environment.
The site is fast on a phone and accessible to WCAG AA. Speed, structure and the technical groundwork for Google and AI assistants are in from day one. In your own admin area you change texts, news and pages yourself, without calling us.
At launch we teach you to run the site yourself. Training and aftercare are always included: after launch, too, you can come to us with questions. Once paid in full, the result is yours, with every login.
What exactly is in your job is set out in the proposal.
What sets the price.
The more work a site takes, the higher the price. These are the points that decide most of the work.
- The number of pages
- Every page needs design, text and layout. Pages that share a layout, such as news items or team profiles, take less work than pages that each get their own design.
- The number of languages
- Every extra language means texts in that language, separate web addresses per language and an admin area that works with several languages. Pierstone, BruLegalise and Prestige Auto Group are trilingual in Dutch, French and English. We agree the number of languages together in the proposal.
- The admin area
- If you want to change something yourself, the admin area has to support it. Editing only texts and news takes less than also managing team profiles or a full stock list. We choose the system underneath per project. WordPress is one option, not the default.
- A webshop and online payment
- A webshop needs product pages, a basket, online payment and order handling. The more products, variants and payment methods, the more there is to set up and test. What your webshop costs depends on what it has to do.
- Links with other systems
- If the site has to exchange data with another system, such as a stock file, accounting software or a calendar, that is extra work. At Prestige Auto Group one stock file updates the site, the mailings and the social media channels. Whether a link is feasible in your case, we look at in the call.
- Extra features
- A contact form takes little work. A stock list with filters on make and model, or a portal where clients log in, takes much more. What such a feature has to do, we set down together in the proposal.
- Texts and photos
- Once we have your texts and images, we set the start date. If something is missing, we help write and find it. The more text that still has to be written, the more work.
- A logo
- A website needs a logo. If you do not have one yet, we design one. It appears as its own line in the proposal.
- Hosting and maintenance
- A website has to run somewhere and needs updates and backups. That is a monthly cost, separate from the build. With us it is called Care, from €59 a month and cancellable any month. Without a plan works too: we then bill per job.
How the price is fixed.
We do not bill the build by the hour. You get one fixed price, in three steps.
- First the conversationWe look at how you work, free of charge, and decide together what needs to change.free
- Then the proposalA plan of two pages at most, with one fixed amount at the bottom.
- Then the workThat amount stands. If the job changes along the way, we agree a new price first.
If you combine services in one job, for example a website with SEO, the total comes down. What that means for you, we work out in the proposal. The payment schedule is in the terms and conditions.
Often asked about the price.
Is VAT added?
No. No VAT is added, under the small business exemption (art. 56bis of the Belgian VAT Code). Should we ever become liable for VAT, all prices are by law deemed exclusive of VAT.
Can the price still change?
That amount stands: you pay what is in the proposal. If the job changes along the way, we agree a new price first.
What if I want to add something later?
Work outside the agreed job is agreed separately, in advance, with its own price. Under the terms and conditions that only happens after written agreement.
Who owns the site?
Once paid in full, the result is yours: every login, and the rights to what was built specifically for you. Your domain names, hosting and accounts stay in your name.
Does the first call cost anything?
No. The first call takes thirty minutes and is free, by video or on site. You get an honest view of whether we are the right fit, including when the answer is no.
After one call, you know the price.
A free thirty-minute introduction.
